Director's Message

Amala Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) is a Christian minority institution open to all irrespective of religion, caste, or creed. AIMS is a unit of the Amala Cancer Hospital Society managed by the Devamatha Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), founded by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara.

The College of Allied Health Sciences was established in 2015 under AIMS, with the vision of imparting quality education and professional training in the fields of allied health sciences and healthcare management. The institution offers Master of Hospital Administration (MHA), Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences (BMLS) and Bachelor of Medical Imaging Technology (B.Sc. MIT) courses and is committed to achieving excellence in academics, research, and healthcare education.

The management of AIMS believes in providing value-based, holistic education in a student-friendly and eco-friendly environment. Through academic excellence, practical exposure, ethical values, and research-oriented learning, the institution aims to develop competent healthcare professionals dedicated to service and humanity.

Since its inception, the college has been striving to establish itself as a centre of excellence in allied health education by maintaining high academic standards, promoting co-curricular and extracurricular activities, and encouraging innovation and professional growth among students.

Supported by a 1000-bedded parent medical college hospital with advanced healthcare facilities, the college provides extensive opportunities for clinical learning, practical training, and interdisciplinary exposure. The experienced faculty members and modern infrastructure ensure that students receive comprehensive professional education aligned with current healthcare needs.
